Ellie and Cal
You may remember this little beauty and her brother from this session. Amanda, Cal, and Ellie came by to enjoy the amazing weather this past Sunday and to catch a few pictures of Ellie's 7th month in this world. Ellie showed off her Irish pride and big blue eyes (her mother is a Murphy born on Saint Patrick's Day, I don't think it gets more Irish than that) while Cal taught me a thing or two about posing...and kept us in full supply of cookies. Here's a few of my favorites from the day:

See what I mean about those eyes?

Ellie's grown so much and turned into such a beauty, and Cal is such the little gentleman. Thanks for sharing your adorable children with me!

Give a little bit
I was recently asked for my services in helping a very special little boy, Zachary Leach, and his family during a rough time. Zach is suffering from kidney issues that have led to him needing a transplant. As you know, this is not something that comes cheaply and will leave his family drained and struggling (though of course it is worth it to them). Some very generous family members and friends have donated their time and energy to put together a raffle in his honor on March 24th in Gainesville, Virginia. Myself, along with many other vendors, have donated services to be raffled off with all profits going towards Zach and his family. Raffle tickets are $5 and can be purchased online by emailing anewkidney4zach@gmail.com (check out this link for more information on different events and ways you can help out).
If you feel the call to help out or see an item or event you'd like to show up for or an item you won't mind having in the raffle, please don't hesitate to join in or simply donate! $5 goes a long way.
(here's a little preview of my contribution to the raffle, and there will be many more cool things as well)

Introducing Kaleb
I had the privileged of meeting this adorable little guy and his parents, Amanda and James, to capture a few pictures of Kaleb's first few weeks in the world. Kaleb was so even tempered and alert for such a little guy. He stayed awake through the entire shoot and barely made a sound when we made him do cute little poses and wear cute little hats. Amanda and James are so calm and collected, you can tell where he gets his cool from. Here's a peak at this sweet, cool, new little guy
