Casey Jo and Zack-Casanova Wedding

Sometimes, two people just make sense.  You can try to explain it away with cliches like "good chemistry" or "similar values", but when it comes down to it there is just that thing...that indescribable thing that makes people stare in awe at how completely perfect these two beings are together. Casey and Zack have that. Casey is such a free-spirited beauty, while Zack has a calm, relaxed demeanor, and they not only compliment but truly bring out the best in the other.  When you watch them together, you feel almost as if you're witnessing something that you shouldn't, like you've walked into an intimate moment that was meant only for them.  And that is why I was so, so excited to be able to capture their wedding this past weekend.  We had a little set back with the rain, but it halted just long enough for the ceremony.  Once the ceremony ended it picked up again, but everyone was so excited to celebrate that it didn't matter.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Lindsey and Michael-Marriott Ranch

This past Saturday I was able to join Lindsey and Michael for not one, but two sweet ceremonies to celebrate their marriage.  I first met this couple five years ago and had no doubt back then that their paths would come to this (of course, I never imagined I'd be the one to capture it for them but that's another story).  They have such a beautiful balance of friendship and love that makes it obvious that this is one to last.  We started the morning at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kensington, Maryland,  where they held a private ceremony, and then headed out to the Marriott Ranch in Hume for the ring ceremony and reception.  I absolutely loved the details that Lindsey put into everything; you could tell a lot of love and thought was put into this day.  And the venue itself was breathtaking.  Here are a few of my favorite's from the day.

After the first ceremony, they headed out to the Marriott Ranch to do a little more prepping and to fit in a few shots before the rain came in.

A special thanks to my assistant, Megan, for grabbing some details before the rain started in.  Luckily it decided to pause just long enough for the ceremony.

The Maid of Honor and Best Man both gave amazing speeches (accompanied by a song and dance number).

The lively atmosphere was so contagious, it was all I could do to not join in a dance or two.
