This past Saturday I met up with the Durham family to capture a few family pictures. It's been quite some time since I've seen Meagan and it was amazing to see her as a beautiful, glowing wife and mother of three adorable children. Meagan and John were kind enough to share their new home that they are in the process of building with me (I have to admit I'm a little jealous of the stretch of open, pure land they get to call home soon!) and we explored the property a little with Elizabeth, Michael, and Noah. It was early, wet, and colder than we expected but these guys were troopers! Here are some of my favorites from the morning:
Little Elizabeth
Michael
Noah
Some of the gorgeous land around the area
Such a beauty
The autumn colors were so stunning, I couldn't help but sneak a few landscape pictures
I can't think of a better way to spend the evening than at the beach with an adorable, sweet, energetic little boy and his family. I met up with Brody, Ashley, and Shaun to capture a few pictures Monday evening and couldn't have asked for a more perfect shoot. The energy and love flowing out of this little boy is contagious; and the amounts of love poured back into him from his parents and grandparents is absolutely endearing. Here are a few of my favorites from the night that I feel give a glimpse into the love in this family and Brody's beautiful spirit...
There's a little bit of that smile
Oops, maybe not
Such a beautiful family
Love this
Thanks Ashley and Shaun for letting me capture your lovely family!
One of my favorite things about photography is that I'm able to capture moments in people's lives that make them happy. A birth, a relationship, a special event, and in this case, an anniversary. Not only any anniversary, but my own parents anniversary (so I guess you could say its a double dose, happiness on both ends of the lens). My mother, Cathy, and Ray came down for the weekend to experience a little bit of Chincoteague life and I was able to steal them away for a few minutes to capture what 13 years looks like. Thanks for letting me share!
