Lilly, John, and Maddy

I met up with Lilly, John, and their daughter Maddy this past weekend in historic Front Royal for a sweet, fun, and sometimes chilly family shoot.  Lilly was one of my first friends that I clicked with in high school and it is amazing to see how much she has grown and changed over the years.  She's become the most beautiful, nurturing mother with such a loving bond with her daughter.  Maddy, you've got some awesome parents!  Here are a few of my favorites of the family:

Dawn, Dave, & Daric

Dawn, Dave, Daric, and I met up in downtown Chincoteague this past weekend to capture a little bit of the Christmas spirit floating around.   We were able to get a few family portraits with Dawn's parents, as well as some sweet ones of Daric and her parents.  I love spending time with this family and their fun, easy nature. And of course who can resit Daric's beautiful smile!  Here are a few of my favorites:

Elise & Wes: Maternity

 I've known Wes for what seems like a lifetime.  He's known me through all those awkward phases that I wish I could erase but that he probably sees as good blackmail leverage.  I just recently had the pleasure of meeting his wife, Elise, and within the short time we've spent together it feels like I've known her just as long.  Elise and Wes are expecting their first child, a boy, in February and I couldn't be more thrilled to have the opportunity to capture this time for them.  We met up at Manassas Battlefield for a few fun shots and some incredible December weather.  Here's a little bit from the day:
